This season will see some considerable changes made to the way in which the club is run. These are changes which need to be implemented in order to sustain the club in it's current format. All of this was discussed in detail at the AGM in June. Click here to download Eamon's recent document which outlines the need for change and the options available to us.
Subs due for the new season
Subs are due for the begining of the new season. The first game of the season was on Saturday August 18th. The busy season start is over and matches will now be played every Saturday at 15.00. All fixtures are announced in Tuesday's Star.
Second team clinched promotion
and won divisional shield 2006/07
The second team finished another successful season by beating Tymon park orient one nil in the final of the 3A shield thanks to a first half goal by David Smith. We also came agonisingly close to winning the league but lost out in the end to Amber Celtic by a margin of one point. Having looked as if they would finish the season empty handed, the seconds put together a great run of eleven wins in twelve games at the end of the season to gain automatic promotion and win the divisional shield trophy. Well done to everyone involved on a great season.

Division 2 Champions 2006/2007

The first team capped a brilliantly consistent season in 2006/07 by holding off the challenge of Croftwood Celtic to win the division two league title. The firsts took forty eight points from a possible fifty four points - an incredible return in John's first season as manager. They also reached the final of the Reynolds cup where they were very unlucky to lose to a last minute goal. Click here to see John Berry's Cup Final goal. Congratulations to John and the lads on a fantastic season.
